Peace Garden

It is exactly how its name suggests. Whether you’ve arrived at your event early and just need some re-coup time to sit alone and absorb the morning or you need a space to break out/ have group discussions, the Peace garden is the place for you! It’s a private little space which can be accessed from the inside and outside.

Shrine of St Gabriel

Located outside on the back lawn, the Shrine of St Gabriel is a beautiful, peaceful and sacred space to enjoy private Holy Mass or to simply sit and relax. Guests may choose to respectfully be seated here as part of their prayer times/ meditation or even quiet time. This Shrine is dedicated to St Gabriel.

Saint Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows C.P (born Francesco Possenti March 1, 1838 – February 27, 1862) was an Italian Passionist clerical student. Born to a professional family, he gave up ambitions of a secular career to enter the Passionist congregation. His life in the monastery was not extraordinary, yet he followed the rule of the congregation perfectly and was known for his great devotion to the sorrows of the Virgin Mary.

Garden of St Francis

Situated at the back lawn, with park benches around the garden of St Francis. This is a perfect place to enjoy group activities, group discussions or brainstorming sessions. You will be inspired by the birds that will fly high over you and the beautiful breeze that touches your face. It’s an experience to be here.

The Grotto

The grotto is neatly tucked away into the gorgeous gardens of Holy Cross. Located just outside the La Velle Room and close to the Shrine of St Gabriel, the Grotto has a few solid benches for you to enjoy with members of your group or simply to enjoy the silence alone. The Grotto has a lot to offer. Be free, unwind at the grotto and enjoy the heavenly presence before you.

The Labyrinth

Holy Cross invites you to come to our Labyrinth. Labyrinths have been used in ancient times as a symbol that connects to wholeness. Labyrinths are used as a tool for meditation.
